Leicester Adult Skills and Learning Service are offering a great opportunity for people to learn how to save lives and get a job.

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification will prepare candidates to work in the leisure industry, holiday parks and private hotels with swimming pools.

Applicants will need to be competent swimmers and pass a swim test before enrolment

Free Swimming
Once you have taken the swim test, whatever the result, you will be able to sign up for 1 month’s free swimming at any Leicester City Council pool in the city with the exception of Leicester Leys Leisure Centre. This is so that you can build up your skills and fitness for the start of the course or pass your test.
