We have lots of English and Maths courses from basics to GCSE.
Many of our courses are free and run in centres across the city. You can work towards a qualification at the right level for you.
Qualifications
'Get On' courses in Literacy or Maths (City & Guilds Entry Level certificates)
'Move On' courses in Literacy or Maths (National Test at Level 1 or 2)
GCSE English or Maths
Courses will start in September. You will need to come for an interview and assessment before joining a course. Check out the chart for your nearest centre to find out about how to enrol.
New Courses
From Autumn 2010, we have some NEW courses that can help you to build your skills and confidence, particularly if you missed out at school. These are:
Get Ready to Get On with Learning Literacy and Maths
Exploring Your Dyslexia
Learning with your Dyslexia
Learning with your Dyscalculia (Maths difficulties)
Plus some short courses running throughout the year which will include Reading for Pleasure, Successful Spelling, Accurate Apostrophes, Working with % and fractions.
