Supporting learners
Information and Advice
Before, during and after courses, we will provide all adult learners with free and impartial information and advice about learning opportunities.
Choosing the right course
Our staff will be happy to help you choose the right course for you. We can provide you with course information sheets which contain information on what and how you will learn, equipment, materials and any additional costs. These are available in printed form from our centres. We can also advise on fee concessions if you are receiving benefits.
Where we are unable to provide a course that meets your needs, we will give you details of other organisations which may be able to help.
Support on course
Please ask if there is anything we can do to support you in your learning. We will always respect your right to confidentiality and we hope that you will feel comfortable to disclose your disability or support needs, in order that we can provide the right support for you whenever possible. Please speak to centre staff for advice
What to do next
Your course information sheet will suggest learning and work opportunities that follow on from successful completion of your course. You can also talk to staff about the progression options open to you.
