IT SKILLS WORK FAST >
We are reporting a high demand for many of our Computing courses which are due to start from April 2010 onwards as more and more people are either buying home computers or realising that IT skills are essential in the modern workplace.
A lot of interest is expected in our new Fast Track CLAIT course which can be completed in only 7 sessions. This is a recognised and respected qualification course designed to increase the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users everywhere, whether in employment, education or training. The course is aimed at the unemployed who are looking for work or those in work who would like to gain a qualification for advancement.
The course covers: File Management, Word Processing, Presentations, Spreadsheets and Graphs.
The course will run at Leicester Adult Education College on Wellington Street for 7 Saturdays from 9.30am to 3.30pm, starting on 24th April and is free to people on certain benefits. For those who can’t attend on Saturdays the course will also run at the BRITE Centre on Braunstone Avenue for 12 weeks on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6.00pm to 8.00pm starting on 20th April.
