REMIT’s staff team is made up of tutors, support workers, office staff, and a ‘core’ staff team. All our tutors are qualified adult tutors. You should always find their classes well planned, enjoyable and informative.

Support workers are there to help learners in class. They are not expected to know all the answers, but they can help people to learn by keeping them involved, and giving reassurance and support where needed. Our office staff answer your telephone queries, organise spaces on courses, and write out to learners about courses. They will also help if you need to pass a message on to your tutor. 

The core staff team is made up of 2 Specialist Programme Co-ordinators and a Lead Tutor. The Programme Co-ordinators manage courses and tutors, and help learners make a success of their time at Remit. There is always a member of the core staff team on duty at any time.
